Sometimes we hear a story in the news of someone who nearly drowned but miraculously survived, against all odds. Or we read in the paper of fishermen who spent all night on top of their capsized boat, clinging to the hull, waiting to die, and then being found by the search 'planes. We wonder...
And hidden deep in their Head Office at an unknown destination, the WaterWise Warriors wind down after another harrowing rescue, talking and debriefing and preparing for the next emergency call.

Nav Man |
|
| |
Nav Man is the wave rider of the team. Out of superhero uniform, he masquerades as one of the hottest surfing talents on the planet. With a superhuman understanding of the
waves and sets, he utilises his highly technical GPS to "wave hop" and zone in on rescue scenarios. He is the guy they use to find missing boats, or lonely divers, or surfskis blown out to sea.
The GPS attached to his chest glows ultra violet and acts as his homing device, as he approaches the scene. His swimming skills and peak physical fitness make him a popular Warrior when the team do workshops and training on the beach.

Professor Percy Pacman |
|
| |
Professor Percy Pacman is really pretty cool: he has a rad hairstyle and cool threads - even though he's quite old, and really clever! (No-one knows how old, or how clever.)
He always knows just what to pack for any eventuality, and seems to have almost anything you can think of in his "Capsize Canister". He also makes sure that the rest of the team's
equipment and special effects are in good working order. He ALWAYS carries flares, the red distress flares to indicate emergencies at sea.

Seegal |
|
| |
Seegal was born of a mermaid mother and inherited the whipped wave wings from her father's side of the family. She has an instinctive understanding of the sea and all its moods.
She spent most of her teenage years rescuing sailors and divers from the ocean depths, before she was recruited to be a WaterWise Warrior. She is related by marriage to the wind,
so often spends her holidays and weekends "chilling" down under where the wind whips up the sea to form mega waves. She is the only member of the team who relies on her own instincts,
and does not use any techno gadgets.

Crystal Klear |
|
| |
Crystal Klear started her career in the desert, where her penetrating voice and ability to attract return echoes of missing people's sound waves quickly made her famous. She spent some time caving, and looking for lost
people underground and deep in tomes and caverns. The Warriors love having her on board, as her infectious laugh and wacky sense of humour bring lightness to their serious sides. Her communications always start like this:
"Can you hear me, over? You're coming through loud and clear. Crystal Klear"

Metakid |
|
| |
This kid probably went to school with Harry Potter. Actually, he's probably STILL at school with Harry and Ron. One of the most talented healers to have studied this century, Metakid has an inbuilt understanding of
medicine and how to save lives at risk. His jump bag is packed by Prof Pacman, and no matter what the circumstance, Metakid manages to produce the equipment and the healing touch. The team often diss him because
he's so young, so he has to prove himself again and again.

Rip van Wave |
|
| |
Rip van Wave has enough talent to be a world class swimmer. He's smooth and wicked - a real charmer. He's also the most annoying guy in the universe - he bullies younger kids,
teases the girls and challenges the guys to stupid races in the water. He gives the WaterWise Warriors plenty headaches - they spend all summer cleaning up the mess he creates.
